EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Beckett Publications announced the following
     promotions: CLAIRE BACKUS from VP/Operations & Finance to
     Exec VP Beckett Publications; C.R. CONANT from Dir to
     VP/Beckett Entertainment; MARK HARWELL from Dir to
     VP/Beckett Interactive; RUDY KLANCNIK from Group Publisher
     to Dir Editorial; MARGARET STEELE from Dir Marketing to
     VP/Beckett Publications.  In addition, CHUCK ROBINSON joined
     the company as VP/Finance (Beckett)....Raycom Sports made
     the following announcements: JOE FARRELL has been named
     Account Exec in Chicago.  Farrell was previously a GM at
     Host Communications; DANE TERRY & HARDY JOHNSON have been
     appointed Account Execs in New York.  Terry was General
     Sales Manager at TCI Media Services, while Johnson served as
     an Account Exec for Cox Broadcasting; and JIM FORD has been
     hired as an Account Exec in Charlotte.  Ford was Dir Sales/
     Mid-Atlantic regional Jefferson-Pilot (Raycom Sports).
