SKY-HIGH PRICES FOR PREMIUM SUITES AT THE AIR CANADA CENTRE

          Top-end luxury suites at the new Air Canada Centre will
     cost C$350,000, which officials at the arena call a "bargain
     price," according to Robert Macleod of the Toronto GLOBE &
     MAIL.  Details of the pricing structure for suites at the
     new arena, scheduled to open in February, were released
     yesterday.  There will be 136 luxury boxes, called Executive
     Suites, ranging in price from C$80,000 to C$300,000.  In
     addition, there will be 40 "premium-priced" Platinum
     Lounges, located courtside, that will range in price from
     C$320,000 to C$350,000.  Leases on the suites will run
     either three, five, seven or ten years and 30 of the 40
     Platinum Lounges "are already sold" (GLOBE & MAIL, 6/12).
          OPENING NIGHT: In Toronto, Craig Daniels reported that
     the Grizzlies will be the Raptors' first opponent in the Air
     Canada Centre when it opens in February (TORONTO SUN, 6/11).
