EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          APPOINTMENTS AT SLOC: SLOC named ED EYNON Senior
     VP/Human Resources, effective June 10.  Eynon is currently
     VP/Corporate Human Resources for UT-based Matrixx Marketing
     Inc. (SLOC).  In addition, MICHAEL MUIR was named SLOC
     Controller (SALT LAKE TRIBUNE, 5/23). NICK THOMETZ was named
     Project Manager for Speed Skating, and ANDY GABEL was named
     Project Manager for Short Track Speed Skating (SLOC).
          OTHER MOVES: Symah Vision, a virtual advertising
     company, named KATHERINE BECKER Dir of Production at its new
     N.Y. headquarters.  Becker had been a production manager for
     12 years at CBS (Symah Vision).....Turner Broadcasting
     promoted MARK LAZARUS to Turner Sports Exec VP (BRANDWEEK,
     5/25 issue)....In Hartford, CBS affil WFSB-TV has hired
     former ESPN and Fox announcer ERIC CLEMONS as its weekend
     sports anchor and midweek reporter (HARTFORD COURANT, 5/27).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
