          On Tuesday, THE DAILY listed TOTAL SPORT magazine's Top
     10 Best Female Bodies, as voted upon by its readers.  The
     Top 5 Best Male Bodies were: 1) LINFORD CHRISTIE 2) EVANDER
     HOLYFIELD 3) LENNOX LEWIS 4) COLIN JACKSON and 5) STEVE
     REDGRAVE (TOTAL SPORT, 4/98 issue)....Stars C MIKE MODANO
     was featured by ESPN's Shelley Smith in a "SportsCenter"
     cover story entitled "Star Struck."  Having modeled Armani
     and posed for Cosmopolitan magazine, Smith said, "Mike
     Modano might be hockey's heartthrob."  Modano, on his cover
     boy status: "I get razzled from the guys about it, and I'm
     razzled about all those magazine shoots, but they're fun. I
     don't mind doing them" ("SportsCenter," ESPN, 4/22)....DALE
     EARNHARDT will be a guest voice on the May 3 episode of
     Fox's "King of the Hill" (USA TODAY, 4/23)....NFL Oilers
     Owner BUD ADAMS donated $100,000 to support repair efforts
     in the wake of the tornadoes which struck Nashville last
     week.  The NFL matched his donation (USA TODAY, 4/23).
     ...ESPN's CHRIS BERMAN was the main speaker at the sold-out
     Univ. of Calgary sports banquet last night.  Attendees paid
     $125 a ticket (CALGARY SUN, 4/23)....Univ. of Kansas F PAUL
     PIERCE signed with CA-based agent AARON GOODWIN, while his
     former teammate RAEF LAFRENTZ signed with DC-based DAVID
     FALK of F.A.M.E. (K.C. STAR, 4/23).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
