WELCOME TO HIS SPORTS BAR, LET'S HOPE HE WON'T SCARE YOU

Rock star ALICE COOPER's new sports bar, called "Alice
Cooper'stown," will open in downtown Phoenix this week,
according to Martha Netherton of the PHOENIX BUSINESS
JOURNAL. Cooper: "It will be the Taj Mahal of sports bars."
The restaurant's theme will feature baseball and other
professional sports, and if successful, the concept will
spread to other major league cities. Cooper is teaming with
AZ entrepreneur Brian Weymouth on the project. If the
sports bar concept is "successful," the partners would like
to "spread to other" MLB cities such as Cleveland, Seattle,
Denver and Detroit. Weymouth said that it's likely another
deal will be inked in Cleveland or Detroit "by next spring"
(Martha Netherton, PHOENIX BUSINESS JOURNAL, 11/17 issue).
