EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          MIKE BASS has been promoted to Sports Editor of the
     Cincinnati Post, beginning December 1 (CINCINNATI POST,
     11/19)....Nike announced the appointments of RALPH EDWARD
     GREENE, JR. to the newly-created position of Global
     Basketball Sports Marketing Dir and named THOMAS FOX to the
     position of USA Sports Marketing Dir.  Greene had been
     Nike's USA Sports Marketing Dir since '95.  Fox, who joined
     Nike in February as Dir of Sports Marketing for the Asia
     Pacific Region, was most recently VP & Managing Dir for NBA
     Asia and Hong Kong (Nike).....The USOC has named four staff
     members and one recent hire to new positions, effective
     immediately.  BENITA FITZGERALD MOSELY, former Dir of the
     ARCO Training Center, will serve as Dir of U.S. Olympic
     Training Centers.  PATRICE MILKOVICH, former Dir of the
     Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center (CSOTC), will
     become Dir of the ARCO Training Center.  JOHN SMYTH, former
     Dir of Olympic Training Centers, was promoted to Senior Dir
     of Sports Services.  DAVE BARROWS joins the USOC in the
     position of CSOTC Ops Manager.  CINDY MUNRO has been
     promoted to Assistant Dir of Olympic Training Centers and
     GREG PERRY was promoted to Assistant Dir of CSOTC (USOC).
