FACILITY NOTES

A WALL STREET JOURNAL editorial, on voters in MN and
Pittsburgh opposing public funding of pro sports facilities:
"Their resistance suggests that in the future the sports-
complex boosters may have to rely more on themselves for
financial coverage" (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 11/12)....In Ohio,
a petition effort to let Dublin voters decide whether the
city should help develop a 30,000-seat MLS stadium was
submitted. If election officials rule that at least 752 are
valid signatures, the future of the $26.5M stadium will go
on the ballot (COLUMBUS DISPATCH, 11/11)....In Indy, ISI
Exec VP & COO Fred Fried, on negotiating naming rights for
the Pacers' Indiana Fieldhouse: "We're looking at setting
the bar at about $3 million a year" (STAR-NEWS, 11/11).
