FOX SPORTS WORLD REACHES DEAL WITH ITALIAN SOCCER LEAGUE

          Fox Sports World (FSWo), which launches tomorrow, has
     reached agreement with Italian League Soccer (ILS) to
     broadcast weekend doubleheaders to its U.S. audience through
     the '97-98 and '98-99 seasons.  FSWo will televise a total of
     56 league contests this season, with games airing Sundays at
     10:30am ET, followed by coverage of the ILS "Match of the
     Week" at 2:30pm ET.  FSWo will air 68 games next year.  FSWo
     will also broadcast 14 matches each year from Italy's premier
     tournament, Copa Italia; the Super Cup, a postseason match
     between the ILS champion and the Copa Italia winner, in
     August of '98; and a one-hour, weekly highlight show (FSWo).
