REPORT HAS BLUE JAYS LOSING UP TO C$20M THIS SEASON

          The Blue Jays "lost as much as" C$20M this year,
     according to sources of Jim Byers of the TORONTO STAR. 
     While team officials say they don't release such
     information, "one person in the know said it was 'mega-
     millions.'"  Blue Jays VP/Business Bob Nicholson: "Let's
     just say we'll have a significant loss.  We had certain
     expectations both on the field and off the field that I
     don't think we achieved" (TORONTO STAR, 9/28).
