IT'S TIME FOR SOMEONE TO BURY ONE! AMEX NAILS ALL-STAR SHOT

          AmEx will sponsor the American Express Million Dollar
     Shot at the All-Star Weekend in Cleveland, February 7-9. 
     AmEx is in the second year of its NBA sponsorship, but this
     is the first year it will sponsor the Million Dollar Shot,
     which takes place after the Schick Rookie Game on Saturday
     night.  Foot Locker had been the presenting sponsor of the
     showt.   A winner will be chosen from all eligible consumers
     who make transactions with AmEx cards in Champs Sports
     stores during a four-week period.  Consumers may also enter
     on AmEx's web site at http://www.americanexpress.com/
     millshot, through AOL, or via a mail-in post card.  The
     winner gets a trip for four to the All-Star weekend, and $1M
     if they make the shot.  The contestant gets $10,000 if they
     miss.  TNT will promote the shot as part of its All-Star
     coverage and cover the event live (NBA).
