     Today THE DAILY looks at average '96 ticket prices for the
28 MLB clubs.  The overall league average is $11.42.  In the
coming weeks, THE DAILY will begin tracking MLB attendance,
comparing '96 numbers with those from the strike shortened '94
and '95 seasons, as well as '93 (THE DAILY).
