ALL-IN-ALL IT'S MORE MONEY ON PADRES' RIGHT FIELD WALL

     The Padres unveiled their new 79-foot-long, 9 1/2 foot-high
scoreboard, which will be attached to the 17 1/2 foot-wall in
right field. The new space will enable the team to provide more
game data, and will add "at least" $200,000 in annual income from
scoreboard ads. The Padres have sold $180,000 in sponsorships,
about $20,000 less than the board's cost. The team also
announced a Sony JumboTron will replace the Diamond Vision screen
in center field (Tom Krasovic, SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 3/10).
