Sports Industrialists

     As part of a legal agreement reached yesterday regarding the
non-football holdings of Colts Owner ROBERT IRSAY, it was
revealed the 72-year-old "is incapacitated by a massive stroke he
suffered on November 29 and is not likely to recover."  Irsay's
son, Colts VP & GM JIM IRSAY, and wife, Nancy, had filed separate
petitions seeking to be named guardians over Irsay and his
estate, estimated to be worth $10M.  Both backed off after an
agreement was reached (AP/Baltimore SUN, 2/29).  Control of the
football team was never at issue (INDIANAPOLIS STAR-NEWS, 2/28).

     BRYANT GUMBEL will host the 7th annual Bryant Gumbel/ Walt
Disney World Celebrity Golf Tournament March 1-3 at Bonnet Creek
Golf Club (Disney)....Patriots LB DWAYNE SABB has started Pro
Sports Entertainment and represents singing group, Second Time
Around (BOSTON GLOBE, 2/25)....WARREN MOON and wife, FELICIA
MOON, were guests on "Larry King Live."  Felicia, on why her
husband was arrested for spousal abuse despite the fact that she
didn't press charges:  "I think it has a lot to do with race and
his celebrity status" (CNN, 2/28)....SHAQUILLE O'NEAL was the
first person to log onto Pepsi's new Internet web page ("Extra,"
2/28).
