OILERS SET TO ANNOUNCE PSL REQUEST NUMBERS IN NASHVILLE

Today, the Oilers will announce the exact number of PSL
requests the team has received, with sources saying the team is
close to meeting its goal of selling 44,700 PSLs to Nashville
fans and raising $71.5M, according to the HOUSTON CHRONICLE.
John Williams reports the team has had requests to buy at least
43,000 PSLs, and Oilers officials say they would not be surprised
if the PSL sales eventually exceeded 50,000. More than 1.7
million applications were distributed state-wide. The Oilers
must meet the goal of 44,700 PSLs sold by February 15, or risk
losing the Nashville deal (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 1/24). A full-page
ad appeared in Monday's TENNESSEAN noting PSL applications were
due by Tuesday for 1st day priority (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 1/22).
