SURFING THROUGH WEB NEWS AND NOTES

     Schick Shaving Products Group will be the first sponsor of
the NBA's Web site, in a deal that begins today.  Under the
agreement, Schick will receive rotating signage on five of
nba.com's most accessed pages.  Schick will also receive
identification on three pages of the site's Rookie Report
presented by Schick.  Schick will also utilize NBA rookie content
for its Schick.com Web site (NBA).... Forrester Research
estimates that the $33M spent on advertising on the Web in '95
will grow to $74M in '96, and to more than $2.6B by the year 2000
(Rosalind Resnick, MIAMI HERALD, 1/15).
