     Former MLB pitcher J.R. RICHARD is forming the J.R. Richard
Foundation for the Homeless, a non-profit organization to aid
homeless people nationwide (Pro Player Reps)....U.S. soccer star
COBI JONES hosted "Mega-Dose" on MTV last night (MTV,
10/30)...."Late Show" World Series correspondent SPARKY MORTIMER
was a guest on show last night.  Sparky came on stage doing the
chop, and Letterman thanked him by giving him school supplies, a
plate of ballpark nachos and a "Late Show" jacket (CBS,
10/30).... GARY SHEFFIELD was released from a Tampa hospital last
night after he was shot in the left shoulder when a gunman fired
through the window of his Mercedes Benz (TAMPA TRIBUNE,
10/31)....A two-day conference in New York, entitled "Exploring
Investment Opportunities in the Emerging Sports Industry" will be

NBC Olympics’ Molly Solomon, ESPN’s P.K. Subban, the Masters and more

The first is with Molly Solomon, who will lead NBC’s production of the Olympics, and she shares what the network is are planning for Paris 2024. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s P.K. Subban as the Stanley Cup Playoffs get set to start this weekend. SBJ’s Josh Carpenter also joins the show to share his insights from this year’s Masters, while Karp dishes on how the WNBA Draft’s record-breaking viewership is setting the league up for a new stratosphere of numbers.
