     The next edition of HBO's "Real Sports" premiering at
10:00pm (ET) on Tuesday October 31, features three reports,
Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones, the "World of Nike" and college
football recruiting "hardships."  In his interview, Jones says
"There's no ego in my life.  But, fifteen, twenty years ago, I
was wandering around Arkansas and Bill Clinton was running around
Arkansas.  Who would have ever thought that one would go on to
power, prestige and fame.  And the other one end up President of
the United States" (HBO Sports)....Cardinals play-by-play
announcer Jack Buck expects to finish out his contract even if
new owners take over the team before the contract expires (ST.
LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 10/27)....NEWSDAY will offer its online
newspaper service as part of Prodigy's basic package beginning
November 1 (Newsday Direct)....GGP Productions will produce a
nationally syndicated Super Bowl XXX special, "Super Bowl
Saturday Night," the evening before the game.  The show will
feature NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue's "State of the League"
speech as well as game preview and analysis (GGP)....In a profile
of the 10th anniversary of Prime Sports in Southern CA, L.A.
TIMES' Larry Stewart notes that that Prime is in discussions with
the Clippers to have them join the Lakers, Kings, Ducks, and
Forum Boxing in the Prime fold (L.A. TIMES, 10/27).
