EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     THOMAS CLENDENIN has been named Manager of Advertising and
Promotions at ESPN.  He was formerly Account Supervisor at
Partners & Shevack, Inc.  Also at ESPN, RON FINKELSTEIN has been
named Creative Dir of Consumer Marketing.  He was formerly
Creative Dir at BR Creative Group (BROADCASTING & CABLE, 10/23
issue)....Quaker Oats President & CEO PHILIP MARINEAU has
resigned over the performance of Snapple Beverages Corp (CHICAGO
TRIBUNE, 10/24)....Reebok Int'l has named ROBERT MEERS President
and CEO of its Brand Div (BOSTON GLOBE, 10/24)....Astors GM BOB
WATSON has resigned to accept a similar position with the Yankees
(Astros).
