STADIUM NOTES

     The Oakland Coliseum board gave its approval yesterday to an
agreement "shifting power over major financial decisions to city
and county appointees."  The board voted unanimously in favor of
a 10-year operating agreement (S.F. CHRONICLE,
10/19)....Milwaukee Mayor John Norquist yesterday appointed
Budget Dir Stephen Agostini to the WI Professional Baseball
District Board (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 10/19). ....Georgia
Dome engineers have found a permanent fix for the water-ponding
on the roof.  They plan to install adjustable posts with cables
to raise the slope around the perimeter by about three feet
(ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 10/19). ....The "boom" in projects in TN,
most notably in Nashville where a new $120M arena is being built,
is profiled in the latest issue of FACILITIES magazine (10/95
issue).
