NO MORE ROOMS AT THE OLYMPIC LICENSING HOTEL

     "With just 10 more deals in the works, the push to round up
companies for licensed products is over," according to Sheila
Poole of the ATLANTA CONSTITUTION.  ACOG officials announced
Tuesday that approximately 110 companies will make and market
official Atlanta Games merchandise, and the next step is "lining
up" store shelves for Olympic products.  ACOG Licensing Official
Robert Hollander said licensed merchandise sales have reached
$250M, with over $1B expected by the end of the Games (ATLANTA
CONSTITUTION, 10/11).
     ROYALTIES:  Guarantees to ACOG from retail merhcandise
manufactuers have reached $60M thus far, and are expected to hit
$75M by the end of the Games.  The last two Olympics only raised
$40M combined through licensing agreements  (REUTERS/DAILY
VARIETY, 10/11).
     MORE MONEY NEWS: ACOG officials will produce their final
financial forecast today, which will be the "most accurate"
indication so far of the costs of staging the Games (Melissa
Turner, ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 10/11).
