"GO!" A NEW MANTRA ON THE SPORTS BEVERAGE SCENE?

     J. Robert Cade, the man who invented Gatorade, has produced
Go!, a milkshake-like drink "that helps the body recover from
strenuous exercise in six hours instead of 24," according to the
TAMPA TRIBUNE. Now, International Healthcare Distributors, a
Clearwater, FL-based company, has filed to sell up to 250,000
shares of stock for $10 each with the plan to raise up to $2.5M
to market Go! and expand distribution. Swimmers at the Univ. of
Florida have been using the product for about five years. Go! is
currently manufactured by Hershey Chocolate USA in Savannah, GA
and comes in vanilla and chocolate flavors. According to the
Beverage Marketing Corp., consumers spent about $975M on sports
beverages last year (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 9/28).
