     The new College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend
announced a sponsorship deal with the consumer care division of
Bayer, makers of Alka-Seltzer.  Alka-Seltzer made a $250,000
three-year commitment, with options for two additional years, in
support of the Hall as an exhibit underwriter for the Great
Upsets Section planned for the Hall which is scheduled to open
August 25.  The section will feature the "Alka-Seltzer Upset of
the Week," and culminate with the "Alka-Seltzer Upset of the Year
Award."  The program will also be featured on the Hall's internet
page at http:collegefootball.org/ (College Football Hall of
Fame).
