EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     JOE GANGONE has been named Sr VP/Sponsorship Sales for
Madison Square Garden.  Gangone has been VP/Sales for WNBC-TV in
New York for the past three years....MSG also appointed NEIL
DAVIS as VP/Ad Sales for the Knicks and Rangers and SCOTT EPSTEIN
as Dir of Local Sales.  MARTY SHAPIRO was promoted to Manager of
National Sales (MSG).... NICHOLAS LANGONE and ROBERT WAGLEY have
joined Rainbow SportsSales as National Sales Managers.  Langone,
who was Dir of Sales for Premiere News Network, will head the New
York division, while Wagley, who was General Sales Manager for
WSYX-TV in Columbus, OH (BROADCASTING & CABLE, 8/14).... SAL
PAOLANTONIO, former political and sports reporter for the
PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, has joined ESPN as a Philly-based
correspondent for "SportsCenter" (ESPN)....BRIAN WALKER has
joined the USTA as Communications Coordinator.  He was the
Assistant Dir of Media Relations for the Yankees (USTA).
