GRIZZLIES MOVE FROM THE ROCKIES TO THE WASATCH

     The IHL Grizzlies confirmed after weeks of speculation that
they will move from Denver to Salt Lake City for the '95 season.
Grizzlies Owner David Elmore said the club signed a two-year
lease to play at the Delta Center and then will move into a new
arena to be built in West Valley City, UT.  The club will be
known as the Utah Grizzlies and will retain its colors, logo, and
uniforms (Grizzlies).  The 10,000-seat arena in West Valley will
be home to the Grizzlies and be a hockey and speed skating venue
for the 2002 Winter Olympics (SALT LAKE TRIBUNE, 7/26).
