NHL TV SCHEDULE TO INCLUDE OVER 100 GAMES ON ESPN/DEUCE

     The NHL's '95-'96 schedule will begin October 6, with TV
coverage including over 100 games on ESPN and ESPN2.
Regionalized coverage on Fox will start with the All Star Game on
January 20 and run through the Stanley Cup.  In Canada, CBC will
continue their Molson Hockey Night in Canada doubleheaders,
beginning on October 7.  ESPN, which will broadcast 26 games,
will kick off its NHL coverage with the first-ever game for the
Colorado franchise Friday night October 6 in Denver against the
Red Wings.  ESPN2 will carry approximately 75 regular season
games (NHL).
