NIKE TO P.L.A.Y. IN CANADA

     Nike Canada will spend at least $1.5M over the next three
years to "rebuild, re-equip and establish community sports and
fitness projects" throughout Canada.  The program, called Nike
P.L.A.Y., which stands for Participate in the Lives of All Youth,
began in the U.S. in '93.   The funds will be allocated by an
advisory board that will review requests from parks, recreation
departments, and other interests.  The program will begin in
Ontario and expand across Canada (CP/TORONTO STAR, 7/15).
