     A Federal Appeals Court upheld the NFL's right to black out
games that are not sold out.  A Cleveland man who is hearing-
impaired sued the NFL, the Browns and Cleveland's network
affiliates charging that the policy discriminated against hearing
impaired people because they have no other way to monitor games
(Minneapolis STAR-TRIBUNE, 7/15).... In Atlanta, Len Pasquarelli
reports that the World League, now headed by former Oilers QB
Oliver Luck, lost $12M last year (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION,
7/16)....In Philadelphia, Dave Caldwell applauds the NFL for
allowing the Baltimore CFL club to use the NFL-patented
"Stallions" nickname.  Caldwell: "The NFL is not always a no-fun,
money-printing, take-'em-to-court, eat-a-little-guy-for-lunch
sports monolith" (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 7/16).
