UNLV ticket offices to pledge season ticket purchases if coach
ROLLIE MASSIMINO leaves the school.  450 callers pledged $450,000
total and one man put down $10,000 cash "in anticipation" of
Massimino's removal (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 10/14)....New CBS/Fox
Video's Sport and Fitness Products Marketing Dir LAURA SULLIVAN
is developing promo activities for sports and fitness titles,
including a January release of "Lucky Vanous:  The Ultimate Fat-
Burning Workout."  LUCKY VANOUS is the Diet Coke model and
Sullivan hopes the video will elicit soft drink and calendar
promos (BRANDWEEK, 10/10 issue)....JACK NICKLAUS was in Little
Rock this week to announce he will build a golf course on the
grounds of the proposed Harrah's Music Resort.  The resort
includes a casino and will be voted on through a constitutional
amendment in this November's election (ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE,
