America's Most Venerated Executive.  Has He Lost His Midas
Touch?" (10/3 issue)....BARRY DILLER confirmed that he'll resign
once QVC Inc. is acquired by Comcast Corp. and Liberty Media
Corp. (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 9/27)..... NICK FALDO will return to
the PGA Tour in 1995.  He had voluntarily resigned from the Tour
in 1989 (THE DAILY).... ROBERT HOUSTON, the accountant accused of
filing false tax and financial statements to help L.A. Kings
President BRUCE MCNALL, will plead guilty (Mult.,
9/27)....Blackie Sherrod writes that Cowboys owner JERRY JONES'
recent push for more merchandising revenue "may have cast him as
a lose cannon on the order of Al Davis" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS,
9/25).
