Senators, Canucks Are Latest NHL Teams With Helmet Ads

NHL clubs continue to add helmet sponsors after the league opened up the category late last year. The Senators "will wear the logo of Bell during home games and the Canadian Tire decal will be the one used on the road when the season gets underway Jan. 15." Both are already "major sponsors of the team," as their home rink is Canadian Tire Centre, while Bell owns the naming rights to the scoreboard. Bell also is sponsoring the Canadiens' and Jets' helmets (OTTAWA SUN, 1/6).

The Canucks also named Rogers their helmet sponsor for '20-21. The Coyotes named Dignity Health their sponsor for away games and practices, after previously announcing Mountain America Credit Union as the home helmet sponsor (THE DAILY).
