UFC 252 Draws Promotion's Fourth-Most PPV Buys Of '20

Last weekend’s UFC 252 earned more than 500,000 worldwide PPV buys, the UFC’s fourth best selling PPV of its seven this year, sources told THE DAILY. U.S. numbers for ESPN+ were not specifically broken out, but sources said that typically 80% of UFC’s PPV buys are from the U.S. That would put the number of ESPN+ PPV buys at around 400,000.

The worldwide audience for the event, which featured co-main events where Stipe Miocic beat Daniel Cormier by a decision and Marlon Vera knocked out Sean O’Malley in the first round, falls behind UFC 246 (with Conor McGregor), UFC 251 (from Fight Island) and UFC 249 (the UFC’s return from COVID-19).
