Rangers Unveil New Unis For First Season At Globe Life Field

The MLB Rangers today "unveiled some new looks" they will be wearing during their inaugural season at Globe Life Field next year. The Rangers said that the jersey redesign was "not meant to be a total rebrand" and players had "some input on the changes." The "biggest difference comes on the home uniforms which now say 'Rangers' across the chest." The Rangers’ jerseys had exclusively said "Texas" since '09. Along with a new Spring Training jersey, the team’s "standard road and alternate blue uniform still features 'Texas' across the chest with new piping along the pants and sleeves." The team's new alternate red uniforms "will be worn at home on Fridays." In a "nod to the uniforms of old, and to the delight of many fans, the Rangers have brought back the powder blues" and will wear them on Sundays (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 12/4).
