Michigan State-Michigan Men's Hoops Matchup Is A Hot Ticket

Sunday's Michigan State-Michigan men's basketball game features a top-10 matchup in Ann Arbor, driving up ticket demand for the rivalry game. The average resale price is $244, according to data from SeatGeek, making it the most in-demand UM home game of the season ahead of the Feb. 9 win over Wisconsin (average resale price of $162). SeatGeek analyst Chris Leyden noted this is is the "hottest matchup between the two teams that we have seen," and it is "a bit of a hotter ticket than when the teams play in East Lansing next month." It is also tracking as the third most in-demand Big 10 game this season, behind only Michigan State-Indiana ($304) and Ohio State-Indiana ($247). UM will wear throwback uniforms at the game to mark the 30th anniversary of the school's lone NCAA title.

Meanwhile, Saturday's Duke-Syracuse game at the Carrier Dome is expected to set a record for an on-campus college basketball game. The game sold out prior to Jim Boeheim's involvement in a fatal car accident earlier this week.
