ESPN, Univision Ink Broadcast Deals For Campeones Cup

ESPN and Univision have signed multiyear U.S. broadcast deals to air the Campeones Cup, the new winner-take-all event that pits the champion of MLS and Liga MX against each other. The new event, which will hold its inaugural edition on Wednesday, will also be aired on TSN and TVA Sports in Canada in English and French, respectively. Both of those broadcasters also signed long-term deals to air the event. Soccer United Marketing brokered the deal on behalf of MLS and Federación Mexicana de Futbol, which it has represented for more than 15 years. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft
