Unclear If Redskins' Field Conditions Have Improved Since Thanksgiving

The Redskins host the Cardinals on Sunday, marking their first game at FedExField since Thanksgiving night against the Giants, when a "battered and brown" playing surface was on display. Redskins Senior VP/Communications Tony Wylie "did not respond to an email" asking if any work had been done to the field since then or if the heating system underneath has been repaired. The "ugly condition of the field became a topic of conversation" on Thanksgiving, with a "big brown stain in the middle of the field looking particularly bad in the aerial shots" (WASHINGTON TIMES, 12/15).
