Dean & DeLuca Set To Exit PGA Tour Event Sponsorship Early

Dean & DeLuca is "on the verge of pulling out" of its deal to title sponsor the PGA Tour stop in Ft. Worth "two years into its six-year commitment with the event." D&D notified the PGA Tour and Colonial Country Club that it "may be unable to meet its financial obligations" for sponsorship in '18. Losing D&D "would not be a devastating hit to the tournament, but it’s hardly a welcome development," as the "price of re-branding is costly" (STAR-TELEGRAM.com, 10/19).
