NFL Lines Up "Random Acts Of Kickoff" Events Ahead Of '17 Season
Each NFL team in the coming weeks as part of the push to the season opener will have fan experience initiatives ranging from surprise player and celebrity appearances, team rallies with free merchandise and game tickets, to events supporting non-profit organizations in the community. The league is dubbing the program “Random Acts of Kickoff.” The effort will culminate with an event at Christopher Columbus Park in Boston on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 12:00pm ET to commemorate the Patriots’ Super Bowl LI championship.
Examples of team activations include Mike Ditka working as an elevator operator surprising Bears fans and the NFL, Fuel Up to Play 60 and the Patriots celebrating the start of the season by hosting an ultimate PE assembly at a local school. Details of team activations are available on NFL.com/Kickoff or by following the Twitter hashtags #Kickoff2017 and #RandomActsofKickoff.
