Automaker FCA US Sponsors Atrium At Palace Of Auburn Hills

The Pistons and Palace Sports & Entertainment today announced a deal with FCA US, formerly Chrysler Group, that includes naming rights to the West Atrium at The Palace of Auburn Hills as well as the Ivy Lounge at DTE Energy Music Theatre. The West Atrium, which will now become the Dodge Atrium, received $1M in renovations in '13 amid the arena's overall upgrade. As part of the new deal, vehicles will be displayed at the Dodge Atrium and outside the Jeep Ivy Lounge at DTE (PS&E).

Financial terms were not disclosed, but PS&E President & CEO Dennis Mannion has said that he "expected naming rights for the West Atrium to sell for at least" $1M annually (CRAINSDETROIT.com, 10/21).
