Sabres Part Ways With Black, Name Bills' Brandon President

The Sabres today confirmed that they have "parted ways" with team President Ted Black, with Bills President Russ Brandon to "fill the same role with the Sabres." The Sabres in a statement said that Black's departure was "a mutual decision" (BUFFALONEWS.com, 7/27). A source said that Bills and Sabres Owners Terry and Kim Pegula "found how operations worked smoothly with Bills, then wondered why Sabres had so many problems" (TWITTER.com, 7/27).
