Orioles To Play Game In Empty Ballpark Amid Baltimore Rioting

The Orioles "intend to play the final game" of their series against the White Sox at 2:05pm ET tomorrow, but it will be "closed to the public" due to the ongoing riots in Baltimore. Also, the three-game series against the Rays slated to begin Friday has been moved to Tropicana Field, though the Orioles will "serve as the 'home' team and receive the gate." The games postponed from this week "will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader," on Thursday, May 28, at 4:05pm ET. All fans with tickets to games at Camden Yards on April 29, and May 1, 2 or 3 "may exchange them for any remaining home game this season on a 'dollar for dollar' basis" (MASNSPORTS.com, 4/28).

Meanwhile, the Ravens have canceled their NFL Draft party, originally scheduled for Thursday night at M&T Bank Stadium. For fans who have already purchased tickets, automatic refunds will be issued via the payment method used. The Ravens also postponed their team store outlet sale scheduled for Saturday, to be rescheduled for a later date (Ravens).
