Under Armour Set To Launch Female-Focused Ad Campaign
Under Armour next week is launching its "second of three major marketing campaigns this year, and this one is all for the ladies." Misty Copeland, a principal dancer in the American Ballet Theatre, "will take the spotlight in the new campaign." UA Founder, Chair & CEO Kevin Plank said that the "campaign demonstrates the commitment the company has to growing its women’s business as large as its men’s side." The campaign also will "communicate to women that Under Armour wants to 'grow up' with them" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/25).
