Reno-Tahoe Open Lands Barracuda Networks As Title Sponsor
The PGA Tour Reno-Tahoe Open has signed Barracuda Networks as its title sponsor in a four-year deal. The agreement with the California-based tech company means the event at Montreux Golf & Country Club "will now be known as the Barracuda Championship." The "value of the contract was not immediately known," but it is "likely to be at least" $1M annually. The tourney, which previously did not have a title sponsor, coincides with the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational (RGJ.com, 7/9).
