First Tennessee Bank Gets Naming Rights For Sounds' Ballpark
First Tennessee Bank has acquired the naming rights to the Triple-A PCL Nashville Sounds' new ballpark, which is set to open in April '15. The deal is for 10 years with an option for the bank to "extend it for an additional 10 years." Financial terms were not disclosed (BIZJOURNALS.com, 4/22). The Sounds today unveiled "two new renderings" of First Tennessee Park and revealed that the "trademark guitar-shaped scoreboard" at Greer Stadium, the team's current venue, will not be part of the new ballpark design (TENNESSEAN.com, 4/22).
