March Madness Live Continues Record Pace In Streams, Video Hours

March Madness Live continued its record pace, surpassing 64 million live streams through yesterday’s regional finals, up 42% from a comparable point last year, according to data from Turner Sports. MML this year also has more than 13.5 million hours of live video consumed, 7% more than last year at the same point. The digital distribution of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament surpassed all of last year’s live stream total during the first weekend of play, and during the Final Four on Saturday will see online and mobile simulcasts of the new team-specific video feeds being developed for the event.
