Minnesota Authority To Issue RFP For Vikings Stadium Manager
The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority plans to issue a request for proposals for a "private management company to run the day-to-day operations and marketing efforts" for the Vikings' new stadium. The authority "received four responses to its recent request for qualifications, including one from a local firm and three from national players." The RFQ replies were due on Thursday, and the MSFA board was meeting Friday "in a closed session to discuss the proposals." The RFP will go out next Friday, with the contract to be awarded in late May (BIZJOURNALS.com, 3/21).
