WNBA Announces Multi-Brand Partnership With Procter & Gamble
The WNBA today formally announced a partnership with Procter & Gamble to establish a multi-brand partnership via P&G's "MBIB Imagine a Future" program. Through WNBA Cares, players, coaches and alumni will appear with participating brands My Black is Beautiful, Cover Girl, Tampax and Secret at league and team events during the '13 season (WNBA).
The brands also "will be featured on WNBA.com and will have courtside signage during nationally televised games." There is "no national media buy." The program "will be activated in six WNBA markets, as well, but the league has not finalized those locations." Terms of the deal were not available (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 7/22 issue).
