Shares Of Disney Hit All-Time High, With ESPN Generating "Fortunes"

Shares of Walt Disney hit a new all-time high today after a UBS analyst upgraded the company. CNBC’s Jim Cramer said ESPN “is the single greatest story,” and it makes Disney “fortunes.” CNBC’s David Faber noted there is a “fear, looking out over time, about the bundle breaking apart.”

Faber: “The idea of sports programming becoming so expensive, and what does the world look like when you have more and more people who are simply accessing the Internet for all their video needs (and) no longer need the bundle program provided by their cable distributor.” Faber: “It may be that the pricing changes in some way, but that ESPN continues to have its incredible lock on households that loves sports programming” (“Squawk on the Street,” CNBC, 4/29).
