Nike's New Oregon State Uniforms May Signal Greater Involvement

Nike tonight will unveil a new line of Oregon State athletic uniforms and logos, including a selection of football helmets that are both "retro and futuristic." Nike is "either going to help Oregon State appear more credible and fun on the field with some uniforms, or it's going to elevate the entire athletic department" (Portland OREGONIAN, 2/27).

Meanwhile, the OREGONIAN published a collection of mostly positive fan comments about the Nike-Oregon State relationship.
