AEG, MGM Resorts Plan To Build 20,000-Seat Arena In Las Vegas
MGM Resorts Int'l and AEG on Friday announced that they have agreed to pursue the development of a new 20,000-seat arena in Las Vegas. The venue would be privately funded and located west of the Strip between New York-New York and Monte Carlo. It would be equipped to host boxing and other sporting events, as well as entertainment. The project is expected to be financed with equity contributions from each of the partners, in addition to private third-party funding (AEG).
