Former NFLer Brett Favre will join NFL Network's "day-long coverage" of Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday (AP, 1/30).

Roush Fenway Racing today announced an extension of its partnership with Valvoline, which will remain the team's exclusive motor oil provider in NASCAR competition (Roush Fenway Racing).

CBS' Seth Davis will serve as the game analyst for tonight's Dayton-Xavier men's basketball contest on CBS Sports Network at 9:00pm ET. Davis, who normally works in the studio, wrote on his Twitter feed, "Can't wait to hear everybody's, uh, feedback" (TWITTER.com, 1/30).

Axe Hair has inked an endorsement deal with Texans DE J.J. Watt. In support of the deal, the brand will make a $50,000 donation to Watt's charitable foundation (Axe Hair).

Alliance Truck Parts today announced a multiyear extension of its partnership with Penske Racing. Alliance will be the primary sponsor of Penske's NASCAR Nationwide Series No. 12 Ford driven by Sam Hornish Jr. (Alliance Truck Parts).
